1. Nationwide Verizon outage

Verizon tells FOX they are working to resolve an “issue” as users across the country report phones stuck in SOS mode and unable to make calls or send text messages due to an apparent failure. Read more here.

2. Suspect charged with animal abuse

A Chandler woman at the center of an animal abuse investigation has been charged with fraud by the Maricopa County District Attorney’s Office, police said. Read more here.
