Jewish American leaders reacted Tuesday afternoon to Iran’s unprecedented missile attack on Israel.

The attack, which Israel said included more than a hundred rockets, came in response to recent deaths Hezbollah and Hamas leaders.

“The United States stands with its only democratic ally in the Middle East, Israel, as it defends itself and its people against evil,” Republican Rep. Max Miller of Ohio said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Iran and its proxies must stop threatening the world.”

In a Sept. 30 statement, Miller said, “Israel’s efforts to dismantle Hezbollah are making the world safer.”

“I applaud the effort to eliminate Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who is responsible for the deaths of Americans and countless innocent civilians,” Miller wrote. “Lebanon’s civilian population continues to suffer as Iranian-led Hezbollah drags the country to war. Responsibility for this death and destruction lies with Hezbollah and those who seek to sow chaos and dysfunction at Tehran’s behest.”
