Golden Knights continue to prepare for regular season with preseason battle against The Avalanche

The Vegas Golden Knights will play their fifth preseason game in 2024, facing the Colorado Avalanche.

The two teams met on Tuesday, with the Golden Knights putting on a dominant performance. Zach Aston-Reese scored two goals and Brendan Brisson, Tanner Laczynski, Joe Fleming and Tanner Pearson added a goal each.

Akira Schmid was solid between the posts, stopping 27 of the 28 shots he faced. The Golden Knights fired 37 shots to Alexandar Georgiev, who only stopped 31 of those shots.

After making almost all of the roster cuts, the Golden Knights’ roster looks almost like the roster it did on opening night. Brisson, Aston-Reese, Rondbjerg and Laczynski are all back on offense and Kaedan Korczak will start in his fifth game.

Barbashev – Eichel – Olofsson
Brisson-Roy-Stone
Howden-Hertl-Holtz
